Some things heal best outside of a room with just you and a therapist. Some things heal because someone across from you says "wait, you too?" and you realize you were never actually the weird one - you were just surrounded by people pretending not to be.
Group Therapy
Weird Women Group Therapy Community
This is group therapy for neurospicy women in midlife who are done doing life in isolation and are ready to feel a sense of belonging and truly seen for maybe the first time. Healing is often relational and WWGTC is about building community with other women like you.
It's therapeutic; not a support group in the vague, unstructured sense. There's a facilitator (me), a purpose, and real clinical work happening. But it's also social, because connection is part of the treatment (and not just a side effect of it.)
Who It’s For
If you've been in individual therapy and hit the wall where insight alone isn't cutting it anymore - where you know you need to practice being FULLY yourself in front of other people and learn you can survive it - group is where that happens.
It's also for anyone who specifically wants relational healing: proof, in real time, that you can be weird, emotionally messy, late-diagnosed, deconstructed, whatever, and still be seen and wanted in a room.
What It’s Not
Group therapy isn't a replacement for individual work if you need one-on-one attention or want to talk about something specific.
We can talk about pairing the two, or whether starting individual first is a better fit.
And WWGTC is not a place to perform or pretend you have it all together. That's the whole point!

This is a weekly group that meets Wednesdays at 5pm at my Wild Peace Therapy office in Dallas.
-
This is an ongoing, open group which means there’s no set number of sessions and people can join at any time (once they’ve done a free intake call with me.)

WGSC is not just a social gathering - it is also group therapy. Because of that, it’s my responsibility to make sure that the folks who join are clinically appropriate for what I offer.

Nope! But if you're in active distress, we'll likely start there first so group can actually be useful to you instead of overwhelming.

This group meets in person at my office in Dallas (Wednesdays at 5pm). This format allows for an easier sense of community and offers the benefit of in person attunement. Plus! You’ll get the chance to try my dreamy cloud chaise!

This isn't a club with a bouncer and our purpose is to include, not exclude. If you're a woman in midlife who's ready to stop performing and wants company doing it, you're in the right place!
